Platform runs are requests routed through Oort's provider keys. BYOK runs — using an API key you store in Settings → Keys — are unlimited on every tier.
Fair-use: "unlimited" means "no hard cap under honest use." Documented per-minute rate limits apply. Full terms in Terms of Service.
Drop in keys for any major provider. AES-256-GCM at rest, decrypted in memory per-request, never logged. You keep the provider relationship — we never intermediate.
Platform credits (the included monthly pool) are billed at provider list prices with no middleware spread. Heavy users graduate to BYOK and pay zero to Oort beyond the subscription.

Additional seats are $18/mo each ($180/yr on annual). Billed automatically — no approval step needed. The platform-credit pool scales with active seats at Team tier.
No traditional trial — instead the Free tier is permanent and has enough budget (100 platform runs + unlimited BYOK) to evaluate the product honestly. If you need more while evaluating, Pro is month-to-month and cancelable immediately.
Yes — email hello@oort.dev with a verifiable .edu address or a link to the open-source project you maintain. Approved accounts get Pro free for 12 months.
Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM (unique IV per key, auth tag stored separately) in our DB, decrypted only in-memory during an outbound request to the provider, and never written to logs or traces. We don't proxy or inspect the outbound payload beyond what's needed to make the call.
No. We store run metadata (tokens, cost, latency) for your own usage dashboards and for platform-wide ranking of prompts. We do not train models on your prompt bodies or outputs. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
