We charge for generation and publishing on the Flows workspace — never for access to the library, and never a cut of your API spend. The library is the free layer of the ecosystem — browse every prompt, flow, pack, and research source, publish your own, and run unlimited on your own provider key with zero markup. No subscription, no card. The paid workspace lives one door over.
Everything you can read here is free, forever — the library, the flows, the vault. We charge for exactly two things: generating custom flows on our keys, and publishing into the shared library. Bring your own provider key and generation is free, because it costs us nothing — we never mark up your API spend and never sit between you and your provider. Signed in without a key? Your first two custom generations each month are on us. A monthly pool from subscription revenue is split among community flow authors by completed runs — completions, not clicks — and our own official flows take nothing from it. Every number on this site is real, including the zeros. That's what makes the ledger worth trusting.

Where the subscriptions live.
A request on Oort's own provider keys. Every tier — Free included — gets the same small flat demo pool (25/month) just to try the playground before adding a key. Real usage is BYOK: add your key and runs are unlimited, billed by your provider with no Oort markup.
No — monthly pools reset on your billing anniversary. This keeps pricing predictable and the subscription a flat cost (no surprise multi-month usage spikes). BYOK has no monthly cap.
Yes. Downgrade / upgrade / switch cycles anytime in Settings → Billing. Annual plans pro-rate to the unused months on cancellation.
Not yet. Team today is a single account with the highest BYOK throughput — 120 requests/min, 50 repositories, /api/v1 developer access, and 24-hour support. Multi-seat workspaces (shared billing, SSO, roles) are on our roadmap; email [email protected] if you need seats now.
No traditional trial — the Free tier is permanent, with 25 demo runs plus unlimited BYOK, enough to evaluate honestly. If you want more, Pro is month-to-month and cancelable immediately.

Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM (unique IV per key, auth tag stored separately) in our DB, decrypted only in-memory during an outbound request to the provider, and never written to logs or traces. We don't proxy or inspect the outbound payload beyond what's needed to make the call.
No. We store run metadata (tokens, cost, latency) for your own usage dashboards and for platform-wide ranking of prompts. We do not train models on your prompt bodies or outputs. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
